• 1936 – The 30 acre campsite was purchased for £500 from Mr Brown.

  • 1952 – The first brick building was built and the 2nd Essex International Jamboree was held.
  • 1956 – 3rd Essex International Jamboree
  • 1960 – 4th Essex International Jamboree
  • 1964 – 5th Essex International Jamboree
  • 1968 – 6th Essex International Jamboree
  • 1972 – 7th Essex International Jamboree
  • 1976 – 8th Essex International Jamboree
  • 1980 – 9th and final Essex International Jamboree.
