Camping At Belchamps
Belchamps Scout Activity Centre offers 30 acres of fantastic camping fields set in beautiful Essex countryside. This is divided into 24 Camping Sites most with fire-blocks, and we have alter-fires for your use as well if needed. It’s possible to book one or more of our field’s for Large Events

Belchamps Campsites Include…
Ash at reception for the password to our guest network, ideal to stay in touch works across most of the site.
Parking for leaders is in the lower carpark, just a short walk, if you have kit to unload speak to reception.
There are two wood piles, a main on by the lower carpark and at the bottom part of The Coop field. Fires Wast Hight Only.
The camp site has a small laundry room if required during your stay at Belchamps
Showers and Tolets
Two Main Shower bolock and toilet block are also available during your stay. Your never far away.
You are welcome to use the games field and woodland during your stay. Its a great place for wide games.
Checkin & Checkout
Only the group leader books in your party, as well as recording your arrival and issuing keys, you will be given a guide to help your visit be successful.

Please look after your accommodation, it is the aim of scout groups to leave a place better than you found it, please keep it clean and undamaged.
Have a Great Stay At Belchamps
If you need anything or have any sort of problem please ask and we will do our beast to help. Day time the reception and night time emergencies the number in your guide.
Our open volunteer and workdays are on the last Saturday of the Month.
The next one will be on the 31st of July. Tasks for this day are:
Painting inside the Rifle Range.
Fixing the Archery Roof.
Collecting and removing waste from around the site.
Making new firebases.
Installing new posts and signs around the campsite.
Making fire beaters.
General site maintenance.
We’ve also got a family show of Hansel and Gretel running in our campfire circle on the 31st and will need volunteers to help with marshaling.
